Alright Dads, it’s your turn! My Dad always likes to joke that Father’s Day is about a month after Mother’s Day because some guy was like, “Hey wait a minute… shouldn’t Dads get a day too?”
Yes, Dads should get a day too.
In our family, Father’s Day weekend is always a big to do because it’s also my Dad’s birthday. We tend to spend the whole weekend together doing birthday/Father’s Day things. Unfortunately this year, we have to kind of divide our time because of other things. My sister and her husband will take the Saturday shift while Adam and I are at a wedding and then we’ll take the Sunday shift while the other two head to Indiana to be with Andy’s Dad.
So no matter what, there is full Dad coverage at all points during the weekend!
We can’t let Father’s Day go by without making some good Dad Food though, and that usually involves a grill and some meat. At least it does for my Dad! I thought I would round up some of the best Dad Food from my blog to give you some ideas on what you can make for the Dad in your life.
In reality, all food can be Dad Food, so if you don’t see something here that you think your Dad would enjoy, no worries! There are dozens of other options, just go and check out my recipe page 🙂
Happy Father’s Day!
