Hi! I’m Katie Dawson and welcome to my corner of the blog world! I’m a 26 year old that just recently moved to Chicago. I’m married to the most amazing man, Adam, who daily makes me laugh, gives me unfailing support, and is my all around partner in life. We have two cats, Dot and Olaf, who keep us on our toes and give us all the furry snuggles.
A few years ago, I decided to take charge of my health and started to make big changes to my diet and exercise. There was a ton of information out there and at times it felt overwhelming. Eventually, I found a lifestyle that worked for me and now I want to help you do the same. I know how hard and frustrating being healthier can be. You don’t have to do everything alone. Hey! I was just wandering if you are vegan? Because I am:) and there’s plenty of vegan recipes in your blog (sorry if you’ve already said something about this is just I kinda just found your blog haha)
I eat a largely vegan diet but there are a few recipes on my blog that aren’t vegan. I understand that not everyone is going to share my food philosophy and I want to make sure I have a little something for everyone on my blog. That being said, 95% of my recipes are vegan/gluten free/dairy free/paleo friendly. Hope you enjoy what you find and thanks for the comment!
