There were a lot of big things that happened this weekend and most of them were pretty amazing! The only not amazing thing? The heat. Woooooo is it hot and steamy out there. But it’s summer and that is kind of par for the course so I won’t complain too much.
First big thing this weekend was a wedding. Adam and I helped get everything ready for his stepdad’s nephew’s wedding. It was a lot of work, but in the end, who doesn’t love a wedding?
Then it was Father’s Day along with my Dad’s birthday. I wasn’t able to go with him to Scottish Fest like we usually do, but we were able to spend the day with him yesterday.
Another big thing? Adam and I are looking at houses. To buy. Like adults. And it is both scary and exciting. We have a few options and we’ll get to see them on Saturday, but we drove around a little yesterday and scoped them out beforehand. It feels so weird to be earnestly looking for a house rather than just dreaming and saying, “Someday.” That day is getting very close.
But my favorite big thing to happen this weekend? I get to tell the whole world that in December, I get to be Aunt Katie!! On Mother’s Day, my sister Jo and her husband Andy told us they were pregnant. We had to wait allllll the way until this weekend before we could tell anyone and now that the news is out, I’m super pumped!!! I’m pretty sure I will be the best Aunt I can’t wait to meet my little niece or nephew!
So yeah, big weekend of big things over here! One last big thing? I just launched my nutrition services last Monday. I would love it if you would go over and check out all that info and if it’s something you’re interested in, just give me a holler! I have all my contact info over there and multiple ways you can reach me. I changed some pricing things up, so if you already checked it out, give it another peek to see if it’s something that might interest you.
And I would always appreciate you sharing those pages with your friends, family, or anyone you know might want or benefit from those services. Thanks in advance and I hope you have a marvelous week full of big things!
