A Touch of Fall

Tuesday night this week the horrible humidity that has been lingering for over a week finally broke.  On Wednesday, I woke to a chill in the air and the slightest touch of fall.

It was amazing. A Touch of Fall | Life Healthfully Lived

While I’m not quite ready for pumpkin spice everything and all the basic fall gear that I love so much, it is nice to feel it coming.  I don’t mind the heat of summer but the humidity wilts my spirit.  Maybe that’s because the minute I step outside I start sweating and my hair poufs into an afro.

But who knows?

In other exciting news, guess what I did yesterday?  I ACTUALLY MADE AND PHOTOGRAPHED A NEW RECIPE!!!! Who am I even?  I can’t remember the last time I did that and it felt nice to be creative in the kitchen again.  I promise new recipes will start coming to the blog regularly after we move, but for now I’m celebrating this small victory.

But since that new recipe isn’t quite ready for the blog today, I’m giving you some end of summer/beginning of fall meal ideas.  A lot of these meals are still good even if it’s still warm and hot near you, but a few of them are nice and cozy if you have chilly evenings headed your way.  Either way, enjoy the last days of summer and get ready for fall… Because it’s a-coming!
