One of these Fridays I will finally have new recipes for you and it will be wonderful.
Today is not that Friday. And next Friday isn’t looking good either.
With life/work craziness going on right now, I crave the simplest of things. Meals are no longer the elaborate thought out event they were in the past. It’s more of a look in the fridge/pantry and see what will be the quickest thing to get food in my belly.
If that’s where you are in life, these simple recipe should help. Most of them don’t require a ton of ingredients or a ton of steps. If it looks like a lot of ingredients at first glance, look again because I bet most of them are spices/herbs. And if the instructions look drawn out, it’s probably because I’m yammering on trying to explain things as best as possible.
Kind of like right now.
If you look at these recipes and think, “There is no way I have time for even this “simple” meal,” that’s alright. You do whatever you feel necessary to get food in your belly. That’s life and I won’t pretend these meals will magically make dinner time any less crazy.
But maybe they’ll help a little 🙂
