Let’s Have a Pizza Party

You know what this Friday needs?  A full blown, good old pizza party.  Just tons of pizza as far as the eye can see.

And by “party” I mean I just want to be in a room with all the pizza, my cats, and Netflix.  Maybe Adam.  Maybe. Let's Have a Pizza Party | Life Healthfully Lived

After all our Dot medical drama, I’m kind of ready to just take it easy for a bit.  And what’s better than a Friday night with pizza?  I remember as a kid every so often we would have pizza on Friday.  It didn’t happen a lot, but when it did my sister and I were psyched because it meant two things.

1. We would also be getting soda which almost NEVER happened.  Like ever.  My mom was a firm believer in water/milk being our primary beverages.  Even juice was a rare treat and it was watered down so much it was basically fruit flavored water.  So soda for dinner was a gift from the sugary drink gods.

2.  We would also get to eat our dinner in front of the TV and watch the TGIF lineup on ABC.  Do you guys remember TGIF?  It was like the best of 90’s sitcoms.  Boy Meets World, Step By Step, Full House, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, Sabrina, Family Matters, Sister Sister… man.  That was some good TV.

Well, TGIF has been replaced with Netflix and chill, so I plan to do just that while shoving pizza and pizza like things into my mouth.  Join me?
