Your Valentine’s Day Menu

The day of love is upon us and let’s face it, the best part is food.  Sure, roses are nice and those teddy bears holding hearts are cute but we all know your better half wants delicious food and chocolate.

At least that’s what I want. Valentine's Day Menu | Life Healthfully Lived

In the spirit of loving food, I created this menu including every course you could possibly need.  Appetizers, soup, salad, mains, and of course chocolate.  All the chocolate.  Pick and choose your favorites or make it all and have a feast.  Make it for your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, gal pals, drinking buddies, family members, or make it all for yourself and revel in the fact that you don’t have to share!

Your Starters

Plantain Chips + Zucchini Avocado Hummus– Chips and dip are a classic but you can put a fun twist on it by making plantain chips and zucchini avocado hummus!

Your Soup & Salad Course

Spiralized Greek Salad + Quick Gazpacho– Is there anything better than soup and salad? Yes, gazpacho is a cold soup and it’s winter, but this one is so good it’s hard to pass up.  And the spiralized greek salad is just fun!

Your Mains

If you want a different dish- Yuca & Spinach Curry

If you want a classic meat dish- Balsamic Pork on Roasted Corn & Shallot Salad

If you want a meatless dish- Marinated Portobello Mushrooms with Cilantro Chimichurri

Your Chocolate

Dairy-Free Chocolate Ganache– Pour this chocolate on everything or stick it in the fridge and eat it on its own.

Chocolate Caramel Candy– Chocolate and caramel together?  Perfection.

Valentine’s Day Chocolate– It’s in the name.  Come on.

Chocolate Cheesecake Parfait– It looks labor intensive but it’s quick and delicious.

Banana Pudding– Ok, not all chocolate but the cocoa nibs make it amazing and it’s a super simple dessert.

Happy Valentine’s Day friends!  Eat well 🙂
