Ok. We all know that 2016 has been a rough one. Especially if you’re a celebrity. Seriously, they are dropping like flies and it’s making me sad. WHICH is why I’m going to talk about food.

I thought I would look back and see what were the most popular recipes on my blog each month in 2016. You guys are quite diverse as the most popular recipes ranged from brussels sprouts to ice cream. I hope you weren’t eating them together….

I don’t blame you guys for liking this one, it’s one of my favorites. I need to make these soon.
April: Meyer Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin
I had never had Meyer lemons before this recipe and now I grab some whenever I find them.
May: Cauliflower Crust Pizza
This recipe was a revelation and the fact that you can freeze the crust means you’re never that far away from pizza!
June: Lettuce Taco Boats
These taco boats are the best weeknight meal because they are so fast!
July: Toffee Pecan Ice Cream
No duh, this was the most popular recipe in July. It was hot and this is delicious. Make it!
August: Cherry-Lime Popsicles
Again, too hot and delicious frozen treats go hand in hand.
September: Quick Lettuce Tacos
Kind of the same as the taco boats but slightly different. And totally delicious.
October: Creamy Pumpkin Casserole
I love pumpkin and this casserole! Another great weeknight meal because you can make it ahead of time and throw it in the oven when you get home.
November: Mustard Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I think I’m starting to spread the Brussels love!
December: Spaghetti Squash Casserole
I can’t think of a better recipe to wrap up 2016 with. Warm, simple, and comforting!
