I argued with my husband that technically I could sing Winter Wonderland because it wasn’t a Christmas song. Go ahead and look at the lyrics. There is no mention of Christmas, presents, Santa, Christmas trees, or any other holiday lingo. It’s a winter song and I can sing it especially if I’m out in a literal winter wonderland. Rain, Rain… You Can Stay
For some reason, I am totally fine with rain during the Fall. I relish it, in fact. A rainy day in the Fall is the perfect excuse to stay inside, read, drink hot tea, bake all the things, and pretty much just act like a hermit.

From Sunset to Sunset
We’ve lived in our new apartment for just about five months now and the views from our window never cease to amaze me. Especially around sunset. We are on the West side of our building and up on the 8th floor so we get some great sunsets. I know that most people can see a sunset from just about anywhere, but our last apartment was on the interior of the building for the past three years I stared into my neighbor’s window.

Well, Good Monday Morning to you my fine readers! I hope you are having an excellent start to the week!
I find if you pretend you are chipper and happy on a Monday, the rest of the week goes a little better. I’m a little slow-moving today and don’t really want to do any of the work I know I have to do, so pretending to have it all together is what I’ve got today. Sometimes that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
