My dinners lately follow this formula: Vegetables + Heartier Vegetables (think squash/sweet potato/jackfruit/yuca) + Seasonings & Sauce all over some type of grain or cauliflower/broccoli rice.

Toasted Pumpkin Seed Milk
It’s time. Time for all the pumpkin things. I waited until October to start posting the recipes but I’ve been testing pumpkin stuff for a good month now. Because I’m just as basic as every other white chick. I love Fall and leaves and scarves and jeans and cool air and bonfires. And pumpkin. All the pumpkin.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, only 27 more days until my birthday. Also, 27 days until I’m no longer in my 20’s. Weird.

Moving + Meal Prep
No. Adam and I didn’t move. That would be insanity because we have only lived in our new place for five months. I mean, I’m not saying we wouldn’t be crazy and try something like that, but we didn’t.
My sister and brother-in-law decided to move.

I’m a weirdo that loves going grocery shopping. I know it’s the chore that most people detest the more. I sort of get it too. You have to deal with other shoppers and that one person who doesn’t realize you steer a cart like you drive a car, STICK TO YOUR SIDE PERSON AND DON’T TAKE UP THE WHOLE AISLE!! You have to think about what you need and what food to make. You have to stand in a line and there is always someone with 50 items in the 12 or fewer lane. It’s frustrating and boring and a chore to get over as soon as possible.
But I still love it.
