Have you seen that commercial for shingles? There is an elderly man that has this horrible rash that is all over his face and he constantly wears a grimace of pain and every one gives him these pitiful looks as he winces his way through life and the commercial. The commercial leads you to believe, as well as everything else you hear, that shingles is an old people disease.
Yeah. I found out that isn’t true. How? I got shingles!

And to my mom, I am who I am because of your love, guidance, laughter, rules, and example. I can’t imagine a better mom for me and I’m so glad I get to call you mine.

UGH! This weather is a major bummer. The whole weekend has been drizzly and windy and cold and gloomy and just… BLAH.
But I don’t want to sit here and complain because that is making me grumpier than the cruddy weather. Instead, I’m going to talk about things that make me happy. That should make Monday (and this nutty weather) a little bit better!
