You know how I wrote last week about how life happens and you just have to roll with the punches and do the best you can? Well, life has REALLY happened this past week and I am getting a big dose of my own advice and trying my best to roll with it.
For those of you who don’t know, or haven’t seen one of my numerous cat pictures, we have three cats. As much as I get annoyed by the people who treat their pets like babies and dress them up and prance them around, our cats really are members of our family. Dot, our first and oldest kitty, has been in the animal hospital since Friday and it’s been a roller coaster ride.

I think a lot of us, me included, feel like in order to be good and productive members of society have to do more. More work, more outings, more social functions, more workouts, more dieting, more social media worthy activities, more whatever. Because if you’re not doing more, you’re being lazy.
I have noticed lately that I always feel like I need to do something, whether it’s work, working out, going out with Adam, or whatever. Slowing down feels lazy. Another part of the constant more for me is trying to keep up with what I *think* everyone else is doing. Because I work from home and I set my own schedule, it’s easy for me to jam as much stuff into my day just so I can keep up and not be lazy.

Well, this past weekend was the big move. And by big move I mean we literally moved a few blocks down the street. Much better than moving from Sycamore to Chicago.
But still, no matter where you’re moving it tends to be stressful. The last thing you’re thinking about is eating a healthy meal. You just want something to shove in your mouth before you haul the next box up eight flights of stairs.
