Monday Things: Snow & The Winter Olympics
Chicago got some snow this weekend. In fact, we got some snow pretty much every day starting on Thursday and going all the way through Sunday. I think we got something like 10 inches total? I don’t know. All I know is that there was a lot of snow.

Squash Tagine
Never heard of tagine? Yeah, me either. But I saw another recipe for this Moroccan stew and decided to give it a whirl. Now, I don’t have a tagine (a type of clay pot) which is how this stew is usually made, but I do have a slow cooker and decided that would work too.

Winter Wonderland
I argued with my husband that technically I could sing Winter Wonderland because it wasn’t a Christmas song. Go ahead and look at the lyrics. There is no mention of Christmas, presents, Santa, Christmas trees, or any other holiday lingo. It’s a winter song and I can sing it especially if I’m out in a literal winter wonderland.
