Getting Ready for the 4th of July

I know that for the past few Fridays I have done a round-up post of recipes on my blog.  There are a few reasons for that.

  1. There are a ton of recipes on the blog and I think you should try them all.
  2. I don’t have a ton of new recipes in my back pocket at the moment.

Mostly it’s that second reason. Getting Ready for the 4th of July | Life Healthfully Lived Continue reading

Memorial Day 2018

Today is pretty much the unofficial start of summer but it is also so much more.  It’s a day to remember the men and women that sacrificed their lives so we can enjoy our freedoms.  I know it’s cheesy and cliche but, freedom isn’t really free.  I think we all forget that most of the time and Memorial Day is a good time to remember and be grateful to everyone who gave their all.  Memorial Day 2018 | Life Healthfully Lived Continue reading

Last Minute Labor Day Recipes

Adam and I are currently on our way back home from a wedding in Michigan.  It was a beautiful wedding and interesting to see two cultures (Indian and American) come together.  I’ve never been to an Indian wedding so I really liked seeing their traditions and how they celebrate.  Plus, the weather was great and the farm scenery was awesome.

Man, I make cooking sound like poetry. Sweet Potato Dumpling Salad | Life Healthfully Lived Continue reading
