I don’t know why I’ve never tried tikka masala before given I love the flavors and simplicity of most Indian dishes. It also probably has to do with the fact that I always thought tikka masala had to be made with meat and it never really interested me beyond that.

PLEASE DON’T RUN AWAY!! THIS ISN’T PEE IN A JAR!!
I just wanted to clear that up ASAP in case you completely skimmed over the title and were about to write me hate emails for posting obscene pictures on my blog. Not that I think any of you are particularly prone to hate emails, but if a jar of pee were to show up somewhere unexpected it would totally be acceptable to have your feathers ruffled.
So again, this is not pee and I should really stop talking about pee in the same post as food. So Imma do that now.

A Meal Plan is the Best Plan
I’ve harped on talked about meal planning before because it really can make or break a healthy lifestyle. Fail to plan, plan to fail and what not. This weekend that point was really hit home for me. I was dog-sitting Bronson and didn’t really have any plan for dinners. You know what happens when I don’t have a plan for dinner?
Loaded nachos. Or loaded yuca fries. Oh, loaded yuca fries.
These meals are delicious and totally fine to have once in awhile. Because while loaded yuca fries are a delicious revelation, you can not live on them alone. Although I may give it a whirl…

Spring Green Soup
I have one more soup recipe for you before it gets too warm to even think about soup. And I think this might be one of my new favorite soups, which is saying a lot because I like soup.
Why do I like soup? I like throwing a bunch of things into one pot and making a meal out of it. It’s easy to use up odds and ends you might have, you can make a bunch of meals out of one dish, and there are so many different varieties of soup. Stew, bisque, brothy, chunky, creamy, pureed, gazpacho, vichyssoise, goulash… I’m like Bubba from Forest Gump naming all the shrimp dishes. I’m ok with that.
